Over in the forums a post caught my eyes yesterday, HP cancels orders on 210 series.
Got a call from HP today. The guy told me that they are canceling all orders on the 210 series that they have accepted stating that they won’t be available until sometime in January, if then. He said sorry, but there’s nothing he can do and nothing that HP is willing to do for anyone who ordered, even guaranteeing the price that we ordered at ($399). Basically they don’t have much concern about customer satisfaction. If you’ve had your ordered canceled, post and let us know what they told you.
Well, since then HP’s site says coming 2008. I know a lot are ready to get their hands on these, so I can understand the frustration on delays. I decided to look around the interwebs a bit and came across a post posing from my friend, Kevin Tofel, on the same subject. ( New HP iPAQ 110, 210 delayed? )
Kevin said it perfectly when he said that he’d hate to see HP lose momentum on their resurgence back into the PDA market.
